An introduction to radio and remote sensing in collaboration with Vinitia Deshmukh. Guided by scientific models and participants' experiences of the weather, this workshop explores how to ‘read’ storms in the sky and in satellite images. To read a storm is to map the structure of a cyclone and to understand its excess heat as inseparable from four centuries of extractivism.
