Open-weather is holding two weeks of internal workshops, strategy sessions and prototyping. We are hosted by our longtime collaborators and friends, the prolific design and programming duo, Rectangle. Open-weather and Rectangle are thinking together about the project’s digital tools, infrastructure, and how to host the growing meshwork of more than one hundred DIY satellite ground station operators. We are also be discussing how to take forward emergent themes in the work, such as ecological grief and climate rites. Our retreat is supported in part by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.
