In an age where capitalism continues to reign unchallenged, have we lost the ability to re-imagine the world? Furthermore, can the act of imagining the future aid us in our understanding of the present?

This body of work aims to map out future scenarios in order to challenge conventional thinking and stimulate debate.

In a future where all other conservation options have been exhausted, ARC [The Agency for Research and Conservation] is in the process of sealing off vast stretches of British countryside. These areas will exist in isolation from the decaying world around them, unaltered and unthreatened by human activity.
